Israeli scientists at the Hebrew University of Jersusalem reiterate the prediction that increasing ocean acidity due to CO2 emissions will collapse the world's coral reefs in as little as 30 years from now. Faye Wachs, 35, and Gene Kim, 34, escaped the tsunami while scuba diving far off Phi Phi Island. During the event, the sea suddenly turned cloudy and they were pushed toward the ocean floor as the tsunami passed them.
