New York congresswoman Louise Slaughter reveals that GOP activist James Guckert reported from the White House for the Talon News Service under the alias Jeff Gannon. "It appears that 'Mr. Gannon's' presence in the White House press corps was merely as a tool of propaganda for your administration," Slaughter wrote in a letter to President Bush. Guckert is unable to demonstrate any separation between Talon News and GOPUSA, and announces his resignation. The White House refuses to comment. |
