Khamis Masin Farhan al-Ugaydi, also known as Abu Sabaa, who was a former Saddam-era Brigadier General, is captured in Beiji. He will later be accused of funding terrorists to attack Iraqi civilians and planning attacks on election polling centers. The news of his arrest will be delayed until February 6th, 2005. |
