After conducting interviews with 90 90 Iraqi prisoners between July and October last year, the group Human Rights Watch issues a report documenting that Iraqi authorities routinely torture prisoners. Prisoners are beaten with cables and hosepipes, subjected to electric shocks to their earlobes and genitals, and are starved of food and water and crammed into standing-room only cells.
