Rose Mary Woods, the loyal secretary to US President Richard dies in a nursing home in Alliance, Ohio at the age of 87. During the investigation of the Watergate Hotel Break-in Scandal, she claimed to have "inadvertently erased" part of a crucial Oval Office tape. The tape segment was a 18 ½ minute conversation between Nixon and chief of staff H.R. Haldeman. Woods was never charged with a crime. |
