13-Dec-2004   US Dept of Homeland Security   United States
Leadership   George W Bush Dist. of Columbia
Crime   Washington

The truth is revealed that George Bush's choice for Homeland Security Director was much worse than revealed in Bernard Kerik's statement of withdrawal. New reports show simultaneous extra-marital affairs and unreported gifts of thousands of dollars in cash and other items from associates at a New Jersey construction company. These bribes were received while he served under New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, first as correction chief, then as police commissioner. Authorities suspect the company, Interstate Industrial Corp., has ties to organized crime.
