Crude oil for December delivery rose 58 cents, or 1.3%, to $46.80 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Exports from southern Iraq were disrupted because of high winds and rough seas as the Basra terminal and shipments from the north have been reduced because of continued attacks by insurgents on oil pipelines. |
