The Associate Press reveals that Maj. Gen. Donald Ryder delivered a report on 5-Nov-2003 that the U.S. was in violation of the Geneva Convention with regard to the way it collocated prisoners of war with criminals. "Due to operational limitations, facility limitations and force protection issues, there are criminal detainees collocated with other types of detainees, including security detainees. However, the Geneva Convention does not allow this." |
